Ihram rules for Umrah are what first-time Pakistani pilgrims worry about on the flight. Ihram is the state you enter with niyyah, not only the white cloths.
What to wear
Men wear two unstitched white cloths and sandals. Women wear modest Islamic dress; there is no required colour, but the face and hands remain uncovered in the usual way of ihram. Use unscented soap. Your group leader will tell you when to change — often before the miqat on the Pakistan–Jeddah or Madinah flight.
What to avoid in ihram
